Racism and sexism are both large-scale social constructs based on SYSTEMATIC OPPRESSION, which DO NOT EXIST when directed at white people or men. It IS however possible to be discriminatory and hateful towards these groups, and YES THIS IS WRONG AND BAD AND HORRIBLE. BUT IT IS NOT THE SAME THING AS RACISM/SEXISM.
Please PLEASE if any of you are interested in social justice, politics, sociology, etc, LEARN TO AVOID THIS COMMON MISCONCEPTION because if you make that slip-up in a debate or essay or what have you then you are going to make yourself look like a fucking idiot.
On another note entirely yea it’s fucking retarded for trans* activists to be hateful towards cis people because it is counterproductive to the overlying cause of the LGBTQ+ community, which is social acceptance.

discriminating a white person because they are white is still racism. discriminating a male because they are male is still sexism. there is no exception to racism or sexism due to someone’s skim color or gender. discrimination is still discrimination, and the words you use to describe it don’t matter. it’s just easier to use the words ‘racism’ and ‘sexism’ because they describe specific types of discrimination. no one is gonna make special white people/straight people words for discrimination because hi that is really fucking stupid can’t we just use words that are already in place?????????
yes, calling someone racist or sexist usually occurs when the offender is being discriminatory towards a minority or female. HOWEVER the last time i checked the definition of racism or sexism, it has nothing to do with who is in the majority and who’s not. definition of racism from google: “Prejudice or discrimination directed against someone of a different race based on such a belief.” WOW that says nothing about majorities or minorities!!!
